Archbishop Peter Smith died on March 6th, he was the second bishop of our Diocese from 1995-2001. He was then moved to Cardiff and finally to Southwark. During the season of Lent, please pray for the following intentions: candidates preparing for the Sacrament of Easter; the needy and hungry of the world; Women’s World Day of Prayer, penitents and wanderers and all victims of sexual abuse.
World Day of Prayer is presented by the women of Zimbabwe on the theme “Rise! Take up you mat and walk!”. The local service is at Trinity Free Church, Buttsgrove Way, Huntingdon at 19:00. All are welcome.
