National Mass Count
National Mass Count takes place in all churches over the next four weeks, this gives us some idea of the size of our Parish at this time.
National Cycle of Prayer
During ordinary time from September to the feast of Christ the King, you are asked to pray for the following intentions: the harvest, students & teachers, the spread of the Gospel, Justice & Peace in the world, prisoners & their families, all Victims of War and young people.
Carnival
Well done to all who took part in the Carnival Parade behind St. Michael’s Banner and well done to Yoly for organising it for us. Good to see Monty and his boys in the Hunts post!
Sponsored Swim
Matthew Baker finished his sponsored swim, equivalent to crossing the Channel and thanks everyone who sponsored him. If there is any outstanding money you owe, please pay as soon as possible. Also, if you search “my brother Matthew” on google, you can read about his swim. Well done Matthew.
Parish Feast Day
The Feast of St. Michael and All Angels is on Sunday 29th September, please put the date in your diary. We will have a shred International lunch after the 11:00 Mass. We hope you ca bring some of your national food for us to share.
